TOMATO
Shibuya Seiki is committed to manufacturing fruit and vegetable sorting /grading systems that sort and grade fresh produce accurately and swiftly, delivering high value-added products to consumers.
Internal Quality Sensor
NIR Non-destructive sensor
NIR (Near Infrared Spectroscopy) utilizes the characteristics of near infrared light, which penetrates produce, diffuses within fruits and vegetables, and is readily absorbed by the components contained in the produce. At Shibuya Seiki, we apply this NIR technology to non-contact and non-destructive measurements of various attributes such as Brix (sugar content) and internal defects (such as browning) in fruits and vegetables. By quickly and accurately assessing internal quality that is not visible, we control quality variations effectively.

External Quality Inspection
Multispectral Imaging
By switching between multiple light sources and capturing images with a single camera, our system efficiently and accurately detects surface scars and decay on fresh produce, ensuring top-quality standards for your fruits.

AI
At Shibuya Seiki, we have developed our own AI engine to achieve
high-precision and ultra-fast processing. This enables to detect
defects such as fine scratches and color variations that cannot be
detected with conventional image processing. Our system supports
multiple AI models simultaneously and uses multispectral imaging
with various wavelengths to capture distinctive images, providing
flexible solutions for on-site needs.
Our technology supports various produce including mandarins,
potatoes, persimmons, and tomatoes. By using up to six cameras,
it can perform advanced sorting to detect insect damage, diseases,
and decay, significantly reducing the need for manual sorting.

Conveyor
Free Tray Conveyor
It enables transportation and sorting while keeping the fruit on the tray. The system can handle up to 10,800 pieces per hour. By incorporating a system that circulates empty trays and overflow trays, it reduces the downtime of the sorting machine, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the sorting process. Since the measured data is retained, even overflow items can be managed in terms of loading points and sorting data. This system is suitable for apples, peaches, pears, tomatoes, pineapples, strawberries, avocados, watermelons, melons and more.
Bucket Conveyor(Round Fruit)
During transportation, fruits are conveyed and discharged to the
receiving boxes without colliding with each other. The system
supports external quality measurement, internal quality
measurement, and weight measurement, allowing for customized
sorting and grading according to customer needs by combining the
necessary measurement devices. It is used for products like apples,
peaches, pears, tomatoes, kiwifruits, avocados, pineapples, and
more.
