In this system, Fruits or Vegetables are transferred and sorted on tray equipped with barcode. This system is popular as a perfect no-drop sorting system which handles produce gently in Japan among many users. Two systems are available: the Fully Automated System connected with an automatic boxing unit and the Semi-Automated System which is specifically designed for manual boxing. This system enables continuous sorting without stopping the machine because when an excess amount of items are sorted into a certain grade, the machine automatically allocates the accumulated items to an overflow temporarily or to an empty lane.
