Mechanical Shape Sorters
Roller Type
This system sorts produce by size with gradually enlarging gaps between rollers. The size of roller gaps can be changed easily by a handle.

Belt Type
Produce is sorted by size using multiple sorters with wide belts. Each sorter has belts perforated with numerous holes of a certain standard size, and by lining up sorters with belts of the same standard size holes, items of a certain grade that tend to accumulate can be discharged in a dispersed manner. With this sorter, items are not carried over since the entire length of the sorting belt can be used for sorting, thereby achieving high accuracy.

Drum Type
Produce is sorted by size using multiple sorters with drums. The drums on these sorters are perforated with numerous holes of a certain standard size, and by lining up sorters of the same standard size holes, items of a certain grade that tend to accumulate can be discharged in a dispersed manner. Size change can be easily performed by exchanging the sorting drum.

Plate Type
With this system, produce is sorted by size with layered plates of various grades which are removed one by one from the bottom. The use of round holes enables high accuracy sorting. Also, there is little tumbling with this sorter since items are not transferred.

In this system, product boxes boxed by growers at their farm/orchard are accepted, inspected, totaled for each individual, sealed and shipped. Options such as a metal detection unit or a traceability system can be added.
